Emroch Lecture Series: Austin Sarat

A renowned professor in the fields of political science and jurisprudence, Austin Sarat teaches about law and violence at Amherst College. He has written, co-written, or edited over 50 books, including the recent Gruesome Spectacles: Botched Executions and America’s Death Penalty. During his visit to Richmond Law, he’ll explore the relationship between justice and punishment, and how the death penalty factors into that conversation. No cost to attend. Reception to follow.
